One Media iP is delighted to announce that music mogul Brian Berg, Chairman of Eclipse Global Entertainment, and Claire Blunt, COO and CFO of Hearst UK, have joined the Company’s Board as Independent Non-Executive Directors, with Claire as Non-Executive Chair of the Company.

As President of Universal Music Enterprises (UME) and a director of Universal Music for over 25 years until 2011, Brian has been highly influential in shaping the evolution of the UK music industry and how music is sold. Prior to his role as President of UME in 2010, Brian was Managing Director of Universal Music TV (UMTV), the label responsible for the compilation album business where UMTV was market leader. It was during this time that Brian came up with the original compilation idea for Dreamcoats and Petticoats, which extended from a compilation album to a West End stage musical for over 10 years, executively produced by Brian himself.

Exiting UME in 2011 to focus on a wider variety of formats linked to music, such as theatre, media, TV and film, Brian is Chairman of Eclipse Global Entertainment, the group of companies that spans film, television and music production. Brian also holds senior media and music consultancy roles for various major companies, including Universal Music, Sony Music, Warner Music, BMG and the BBC.

Claire is currently COO and CFO of Hearst UK, the publisher behind a host of major consumer titles which include Esquire, ELLE, Harper’s BAZAAR, Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping. She was previously CFO at the firm, taking on the additional responsibilities of COO in 2017 to expand her role. Prior to her roles at Hearst UK, Claire has served in lead financial and management roles at BrightHouse, Selecta Group, Hobbycraft and Staples.
