One Media is pleased to announce that it has registered Men & Motors as a limited company owned 100% by the Group. Until now Men & Motors has been a division of One Media iP Ltd. The creation of the subsidiary is in anticipation of escalating the Men & Motors brand. It will remain a dormant company within the Group until the Group announces trading activity. Commenting, Michael Infante Chairman and CEO said, “We have invested a further £25,000 recently in creating and revamping the brand to create a new TV format and film trailer and are actively seeking broadcast and merchandising partners for this classic brand. We have circa 70,000 subscribers to the Men & Motors ‘YouTube’ site and are receiving approximately 500,000 views weekly. One Media iP Group Plc is pleased to announce that it has renewed the exclusive rights to the MD Production music catalogue. The MD catalogue comprises over 1,000 original recordings from the 1960s to the 1980s. With performances from artists such as Don Fardon, The Cockerel Chorus, Dando Shaft, Gill Scott-Heron, Greyhound, Roy Harper, Johnny Kidd & the Pirates, Kenny and Python Lee Jackson to name just a few. The tracks have been marketed exclusively by One Media since 2007 on a royalty-sharing basis. MD Productions has been a long-term music provider and has received three advances and on-going royalties from One Media throughout the term. One Media is pleased to report that it has always fully recouped its advances throughout the relationship. Point Classic, our classical music library of over 4000 classical recordings is much more than just a record collection, it is also a very proactive sales tool for which we will shortly be launching a new dedicated website. Our bestest friend Dave Cash died a week ago, aged 74. Dave was the voice behind all of One Media’s corporate videos. He spent hundreds of hours with us making the Dave Cash Collection, a selection of music (the largest choice ever by a British DJ) for digital distribution. Dave became a great mate to us and when he married Sara we knew he had found real happiness. Our heart felt sympathies go to Sara and Mr Beesley. Dave needs no introduction or farewell from us and in his immortal words “he will be back after this short break”, “Groovy Baby”. The 22-minute pilot is being edited at Pinewood Studio. Filming for the pilot has taken place over the summer at well-known British locations with an exciting climax filmed at Brand Hatch. The show is hosted by Boyzone’s Shane Lynch and Mercedes’s corporate and CNBS’s FI presenter Torie Campbell. The format of the new show is targeted at ‘late teens to thirty cools’. The new format, which will be a first for a motoring show, features music, in-car technology, car tests, a dating game, a destruction game, teen sport challenges, virtual car reality and high-octane fun. The supporting presenters feature Bloxed Beats, a ‘beat box’ singing combo, a well-known film stunt driver and our very own Phd physicist for the technical analysis on in car development and virtual gaming challenges.
